This is a free walking-calorie calculator. It needs very little from you, and this page sets out exactly what.
In short
All the maths runs in your browser, on your device. The weight, time and step figures you enter stay there and never reach us; there is no account, and nothing about the visit is kept once you leave. We do not want your health data and do not store it.
What the server logs
Only the routine request line a host writes: an IP address, the page and time, the browser's user-agent, and any referring link. We use it to keep the site running and to spot abuse; it carries no name and is deleted within roughly a month.
Cookies and traffic
Block cookies and the calculator still runs, as it needs none. Whatever we set only keeps the page working or holds a preference, and any traffic count is reported as totals, not per person.
Ads
As of now, no outside ads appear on the site. If some join later, they could set cookies and read your IP, so we would name them and link their policies ahead of time.
Your rights
Non-essential cookies can be turned off. Under laws like the GDPR or CCPA you can request the personal data we hold and its deletion; we build no profiles, so there is usually nothing on file, but do ask.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and kept current. No site is perfectly safe, but there is barely anything sensitive to guard, least of all your weight.
Children
A general-audience fitness tool, this is not built to collect data from children under 13, and it does not knowingly do so.
Changes
Revisions appear here with a fresh date, and a meaningful one we will state plainly.
